Extracurricular Events

German Department at Ali Baba International Center offers different sets of extracurricular activities. We have a language-partner program, through which we introduce foreign students to local German language learners. This program is free of charge and gives the opportunity to socialize with German speaking people and participate in the events taken place at the local community. We also organize discussion groups between foreign and local students to discuss different  cultural  issues in an informal and friendly setting.

1. On the 13th of December 2011 we celebrated our first anniversary of the German Department. We were happy to welcome Dr. Christiane Kraemer-Hus-Hus (Director of the Goethe Institute in Amman), Mrs Kerstin Vaessen (Cultural Attache, German Embassy), Dr. Mahdi Issa (Head of the German Department in the University of Jordan) and all our students and instructors. 2. We are proud to be the only one language institute in the country to be invited and to attend the “Career Day” of the Goethe Institute Jordan. The event will take place: Goethe Institute (March 29th, 2012).

3. Our instructors are invite to attend the Teachers Training on March 31st and/or April 1st 2012. The topic is “Lernerautonomie und Lernstrategien im Fremdsprachenunterricht”. The Training will take place in: Goethe Institute Jordan.
